Caudal helps small and mid-sized Mexican companies follow every payment from invoice to proof. Accounts payable, collections, approvals and cash position live in one place, so the team always knows what comes next for each movement.
The challenge
In many pymes, treasury runs on spreadsheets, chat threads and bank portals. Due dates, approvals and payment proof end up in different places, and nobody has a reliable view of cash for the next payment run.
What I built
- Accounts payable sorted by due date, status and supplier, with totals for the next payment batch.
- Collections with payment promises, contacts and scheduled follow-ups.
- Approval flows with approvers, amounts and permissions per request.
- Payment records with SPEI folio and attached proof for transfers made at the bank.
- Assisted CFDI XML import that creates an editable draft for review.
- A cash-position dashboard, plus aging, payments, supplier and cash-flow reports with export.
Key decisions
“Caudal records and organizes. It doesn’t move money or validate CFDI against the SAT.”
That boundary keeps the product easy to adopt and clear about responsibility: the bank moves the money, the accountant validates, and Caudal keeps the context in one place.
